Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data
As Hayat Makkah (the “Institution”), acting as data controller under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), we process the personal data you submit through our website as explained in this notice.
Personal data processed: Your full name, phone number, email address and message shared through the enquiry form and chat assistant; the page of our website from which your enquiry originated; and, if you have consented through your cookie preferences, the advertisement or link through which you reached our website.
Purposes of processing: Responding to your enquiry, informing you about the service of interest, managing consultations and appointments, improving our service by measuring which pages and channels generate enquiries, and, with your consent, sending campaigns and announcements.
Collection method and legal grounds: Your data is collected electronically through forms and the chat assistant on our website. Responding to your enquiry relies on Article 5(2)(c) of the Personal Data Protection Law (direct relevance to entering into a contract) and Article 5(2)(f) (legitimate interests). Campaign communications, advertising source information and analytics cookies rely on your explicit consent under Article 5(1). You may withdraw your explicit consent at any time.
Disclosure: Your data is shared with our hosting and email service providers, and with legally authorised public authorities, only to the extent necessary to provide the service. Messages you send to the chat assistant are transmitted to the AI service provider with your phone number and email address concealed; your consent is obtained before the chat begins.
Retention period: Your enquiry records are kept for the time required to fulfil your request and for periods stipulated by applicable legislation. You may request their deletion or anonymisation at any time through the channels below.
Your rights: Under Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and its deletion or destruction; request notification of these actions to third parties to whom data was transferred; object to an adverse outcome resulting solely from automated analysis; and seek compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.
